Production system integration

Make Board the layer that connects the systems you already run

Most small manufacturers do not have one system. They have several: an accounting package, maybe an online shop, a CNC or machine setup, spreadsheets, email. Each one holds part of the picture, and none of them talk to each other. So someone re-keys orders by hand, status lives in three places, and nobody trusts a single number.

Board Integration fixes that. We make Board the operational layer in the middle, the place where production actually lives, and connect it to the systems around it so data flows instead of being copied by hand.

The problem this solves

When your systems do not share data, the gaps cost you every day:

  • orders re-typed from the shop into production, and again into accounts
  • production status that is current in one place and stale in another
  • customers and office chasing the same information through different tools
  • mistakes that creep in every time a human copies a number across

You do not need to rip everything out and buy one giant system to fix this. You need the pieces you already have to talk to each other, with production at the centre.

What Board Integration is

We use Board as the hub for production and connect it to the systems that feed it or depend on it. Common connections:

  • Online orders in, so a sale on your shop creates the job in Board automatically.
  • Status out to the office or accounts, so invoicing and updates follow real production state.
  • Machine, CNC or document data, linked to the right job.
  • Other tools you rely on, connected via their APIs or structured data (CSV, JSON, XML).

The result is one reliable flow: an order enters once, moves through production with live status, and the rest of your systems stay in step without anyone re-keying it.

What you get

  • A clear map of which systems should connect and what data should flow between them.
  • The integration built and tested, with Board as the production hub.
  • Data flowing automatically where it used to be copied by hand.
  • Go-live support and a handover so your team knows how it works.

How it works

  1. Scope it. We start from a Production Visibility Audit or a focused scoping call, because a good integration depends on understanding the real flow first. We map the systems and the data that should move between them.
  2. Build and test. We build the connection, map the data carefully, and test it against real cases before it touches live work.
  3. Go live. We switch it on with support on hand, and hand over documentation.

Done remotely. You do not need everyone in a room.

What it costs

Integrations are scoped, because no two system landscapes are the same. They start from EUR 2,500 (Ireland and UK) or 10,000 zl (Poland) per integration, with a clear fixed quote once we have scoped it in the audit or scoping call.

If you have done a Production Visibility Audit with us, that fee is credited toward the work.

Who this is for

Board Integration is a good fit if you:

  • already run Board, or are setting it up, and use other systems alongside it
  • lose time re-keying data between tools
  • want production at the centre, with the surrounding systems kept in step
  • do not want to replace everything with one heavy ERP

It is not the right fit if you only run one system, or if your processes are not yet stable enough to define what should flow where. In that case, start with an audit.

What happens after

  • Custom Build, if a connection turns out to need bespoke logic beyond a standard integration.
  • Care Plan, ongoing support so integrations keep running as your tools change.

Common questions

Which systems can you connect? Anything with an API or structured data export (CSV, JSON, XML). Accounting tools, online shops, machine and document systems are the common ones. Tell us your stack and we will tell you what is feasible.

Do we need Board first? Usually yes, since Board is the production hub the others connect to. We can set up Board and the integration together.

How do you price it? A fixed quote after scoping, starting from the figure above. No open-ended hours.

Will it disrupt production? No. We build and test against real cases before anything goes live, then switch over with support on hand.

Connect your systems

Stop re-keying the same order into three tools. We will make Board the production layer that ties your systems together.
