Connect Board Scanner App

With your account set up and at least one employee created, the next step is to put Board into the hands of your shop-floor team. Install the Board Scanner mobile app on each workstation device and link it to your workspace — a one-time admin setup per device. After that, employees sign in with their PIN.

1. Download the app

Mobile devices

We recommend the mobile app for phones and tablets:

• App Store (iOS)
• Google Play (Android)

On Android devices where Google Play isn’t available, install the .apk directly: Download APK.

2. Connect the device

Linking a device to your Board workspace requires admin credentials — only someone with full access to the Board admin panel can connect a device. You only need to do this once per device.

1. Open the Board Scanner app on the device.
2. Go to Settings → Sign in To Board.
3. Enter your admin email and password.
4. The app authenticates against your workspace, generates an API token, and stores it on the device.

The device is now linked. From this point on, admin credentials are no longer needed on the device — employees sign in with their PIN only.

Admin login is one-time per device

Don’t share admin credentials with shop-floor staff. The admin login is a setup step only; day-to-day use is PIN-based. If a device changes hands or you want to rotate access, revoke its token and re-run this step.
