General Settings
General Settings
Section titled “General Settings”The General tab in App Settings is where your account’s identity lives — your company name, contact details, logo, and the currency the system uses everywhere prices appear. Reach it via App Settings → General (or /app-settings).
Most fields on this page only need to be set once during onboarding and are then revisited only when something changes (a rebrand, a new phone number, switching currency).

What this tab is for
Section titled “What this tab is for”The General tab covers:
- Branding — the logo and company name that appear on the Client Portal, invoices, label PDFs, and emails.
- Contact — the email and phone you publish to customers and partners.
- Currency — the three-letter ISO code (USD, EUR, GBP, PLN, …) that drives every price and total in the system.
Each section has its own Save button — you can update one block without touching the others.
A small card with:
- A preview showing the current logo (or a placeholder if none is set).
- An Upload button that opens a file picker. JPG and PNG are accepted.
- A Remove button that appears only when a logo is set, deleting the current one.
When you pick a file, the preview updates immediately before upload so you can confirm you’ve selected the right image. The actual upload runs when you click Save.
The logo shows up:
- On the public Client Portal tracking page.
- In email notifications sent by the system (Cron Job summaries, optional order-ready alerts).
- On the printed label PDFs.
- On the Admin Panel sign-in screen.
For consistency, use a square or near-square version with transparent background where possible — the system scales it down to its display areas.
Company Information
Section titled “Company Information”Three plain inputs:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Company Name | Plain text. Shown alongside the logo wherever the logo is shown. |
| Company Email | Email-validated. Used as the from / reply-to address on system emails. |
| Company Phone | Plain text — international format recommended (e.g., +48 600 000 000). |
Click Save below the card to apply changes.
Currency
Section titled “Currency”A single text input, max 3 characters — the ISO 4217 currency code (USD, EUR, GBP, PLN, CHF, NOK, SEK, …). Save with the button beneath.
The currency code drives every monetary display in the system: the Total Value column on the Orders page, the Price / Value columns on the Jobs page, totals on the per-job tabs, and quote totals in CRM. Changing the code does not convert existing values — it only changes the symbol/format used to display them. Make sure you set the right currency before you have meaningful financial data in the system.
Where these values are used
Section titled “Where these values are used”| Where | What it pulls from here |
|---|---|
| Client Portal | Logo, company name. |
| Admin Panel sign-in | Logo. |
| Email notifications (Cron Jobs, Notifications settings) | Logo, company name, from email. |
| Label PDFs (Label settings) | Logo, company name. |
| Currency formatting everywhere | Currency code. |
Changes save independently per card and take effect immediately for everyone.
Tips and best practices
Section titled “Tips and best practices”- Set currency before anything else. The display code is straightforward to change later, but you don’t want to think “wait, was that $5 a USD or PLN figure?” when reviewing historical data.
- Use a transparent-background logo. Different parts of the UI render it on different backgrounds — a transparent PNG looks correct everywhere.
- Use a real reply-to address. Customers and integrations may reply to system notifications; do-not-reply@… loses you actual feedback.
- Phone in international format. If you publish the number on the Client Portal, an international format works for both local and overseas customers.
