Dashboard Page

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in (path: /dashboard). It is a launchpad — a small set of cards that summarise your account at a glance and link directly into the pages where the actual work happens.

Board Admin Dashboard

It is made up of three widgets, arranged left to right.

A shortcut card that surfaces live counts and links to the three operational pages:

  • Production — open the live shop-floor view; switch between the Jobs table, Workstations Kanban, and Departments Kanban layouts. (If you’ve renamed Departments via Naming, the third view’s label updates to match — e.g., Stages Kanban.)
  • Jobs — open the full Jobs list. A badge shows the total job count.
  • Orders — open the full Orders list. A badge shows the total order count.

Click any row to jump straight into that page.

This widget is the canonical way to generate a Kiosk display URL.

  • Select a view… — pick one of the custom Kanban views you’ve configured in Configuration → Kanban Views. When you pick a view, the widget surfaces options to copy the public Kiosk URL.
  • Create new Kiosk View → — shortcut to the Kanban Views configuration page if you haven’t built a view yet.

If the dropdown is empty, you don’t have any custom Kanban views yet. Start in Kanban Views to create one.

Shortcut cards for the configuration screens you’ll use to shape Board around your workflow. Each row shows the entity count and a link arrow:

  • Workstations — every workstation in your shop. See Workstations.
  • Departments — every department (team / area) in your shop. See Departments. Renamed via Naming on accounts that prefer Stages, Teams, Cells, etc.
  • Job Templates — reusable workflow templates. See Job Templates.
  • Employees — shop-floor workers and their PINs. See Employees.
  • Settings — the full App Settings screen, with every option Board exposes (General, Production Settings, Naming, Kanban Views, User Groups, Webhooks, Notifications, Cron Jobs, Widget, Label).

What’s not on the Dashboard. There are no trial banners, KPI charts, recent-activity feeds, or “what’s overdue” widgets. The Dashboard is intentionally minimal — it’s a navigation hub, not a workspace. Day-to-day work happens on the linked pages (especially Production).
