Software built by someone who knows what a Monday morning in a factory actually looks like

My name is Pawel Jankowski. I have spent much of my career at the intersection of manufacturing operations and software. I work with manufacturers across industries including furniture and metal fabrication, with particular experience in made-to-order production.

My background covers production, warehousing, logistics, quoting, scheduling and installations. I have run factory operations in Poland, managed them remotely from Ireland and built the systems that supported them.

The problems were rarely abstract. Quotes took days to prepare and still contained mistakes. Production status lived in one person's head. Cutting lists were prepared manually. Machines waited while people searched for information or completed paperwork.

I improved the processes and built focused tools to support them. I watched how people used those tools in real working conditions, changed what caused friction and kept what genuinely made the work easier.

Apslo is that experience turned into a company.

We start with the workflow

A conventional software project often starts with a list of requirements. At Apslo, the first step is understanding how the work actually moves through the business.

A specification can describe what a system should do, but it does not always reveal where an order waits, where information is entered twice or where a small operational change could remove hours of unnecessary work.

During a recent project, I spent three days inside a foam-cutting department. The first improvement was not software. It was a change to the physical workflow. Only after that did I build the system, sized around the bottleneck that remained.

The problem determines the solution

Apslo does not start with a predetermined product. Depending on the problem, the right solution might be Board, QuoteCarta, an integration with software you already use, a focused custom tool or a wider operational system.

Where custom development is needed, I can reuse proven components for quoting, product configuration, orders, production tracking, time registration, nesting and client portals. This reduces unnecessary development while leaving room for the parts that genuinely need to fit your business.

The goal is not to build the largest possible system. It is to implement the smallest dependable solution that improves the way the work gets done.

You work directly with the person responsible

Apslo is deliberately small. You work directly with me from the first workflow conversation through system design, implementation and ongoing improvement.

You will not be passed from a salesperson to an analyst and then to a developer who has never seen your operation. When specialist support is required, I bring it into the project and keep responsibility with me.

The honest trade-off is that Apslo takes on a limited number of clients at a time. I will also tell you when a standard product would solve the problem more effectively than something custom.

Based in Ireland and Poland

Apslo operates from Naas in Ireland and Wroclaw in Poland. We work in English and Polish, remotely for most of the project and on site where direct observation adds real value.
